Haruna Abdullahi, spokesperson of the Kano police command, hung up when TheCable contacted him on the development.

This paper understands that Emir Sanusi is billed to accompany Munir Sanusi, the newly-appointed Wamban Kano, to his official district in Bichi, on Friday.

The emir also has a scheduled meeting with some economists on President Bola Tinubu’s tax reform bills.

Kano has been enmeshed in an emirship tussle since Sanusi was reinstated in May.
