It was a sombre and emotional scene in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects to the late Obinna John Chukwunyelu.

Obinna, aged 45, passed away after a brief illness. He was the younger brother of the wife of Apostle Chuks Alozie, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Global Smart System Technology (GSST) Group.

At the burial ceremony, the officiating minister, His Grace Archbishop Professor David Okaforagu, of the New Covenant of God Mission International, urged mourners to live righteously, warning that death often comes unannounced.

While delivering a message of consolation, Archbishop Okaforagu described the deceased as someone who lived a short but fulfilled life. He encouraged the family to take solace in his legacy.

Apostle Dr Joe Ugwumba of the City Light Gospel Ministries International also paid tribute to the late Obinna, describing him as a committed member of the church who contributed immensely to its spiritual growth.

Following the interment, Apostle Chuks Alozie spoke of his late in-law’s devotion to God and service to humanity. He thanked friends, associates, and sympathisers for their support during the difficult period.

Clergymen from both churches also led a powerful deliverance prayer, seeking divine protection for the family against untimely death and other afflictions.

The burial marked the end of a life remembered for faith, service, and humility.
