Taraba State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dr. David Ishaya Kassa has said the blueprint of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the March 18 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly election, Col. Agbu Kefas (retd) is the best of the State.
Kassa who led Mummuye stakeholders to canvas for votes for the PDP governorship candidate in Yorro, Bali and Gashaka Local Government areas called on the people to vote for Agbu Kefas and all PDP candidates in the coming election.
“Col. Agbu Kefas has a good blueprint for the development of the State and as you know PDP has since 1999 ran an inclusive government in Taraba State and Kefas will not be different.
“Kefas has a good experience in security and civil relations and we are sure he will not disappoint the people of Taraba. I want to call on you to vote for him massively on March 18 to be our next governor,” he said.
Dr. David Ishaya Kassa also donated two campaign vehicles to Yorro and Ardo-Kola as part of his support to the campaign.
On his part, Taraba state Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon Kallamu Alhamdu said voting PDP candidates in the coming election depict continuity of good legacies of the government in the state.
He urged them to come out massively and vote for all PDP candidates, assuring that the Mummuye people will not regret voting PDP again.
“The PDP flag bearer, Col. Agbu Kefas and his Deputy designate, Aminu Alkali have the qualities to effectively govern Taraba if giving the mandate.
“I want to call on you not to waste your votes on candidates who don’t have clear vision to usher in development in Taraba State,” he appealed.
Representatives of the Mumuye community in Gashaka, Bali and Gassol local government areas, Urbanus Garkuwa and Demas Siriba pledged their resolve to mobilize their people to vote for PDP candidates.
This is even as the National Woman leader, Mumuye Cultural Development Association, Fatima Danjuma Zogimba said the party supporters should not relent in canvassing votes for PDP candidates in the coming election.
