Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State have firmly endorsed Governor Uba Sani’s bid for a second term, citing the visible and impactful development initiatives of his administration as a strong rationale for continuity.
The endorsement came after a media tour showcasing completed and ongoing projects by the Kaduna State Government across Kaura LGA over the weekend.
Led by the Executive Chairman of the council, Mr. Obadiah Sankyai, the tour highlighted key sectors including health, education, and road infrastructure, and was attended by prominent figures such as the State Commissioner for Internal Security, Barr. James Kanyip; the Commissioner for Sports, Prof. Benjamin Gugwong; a former local government chairman; and dedicated party supporters.
Following the inspection, Chairman Sankyai expressed that Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated a sincere commitment to grassroots development, which has fostered strong support among the people of Kaura.
The stakeholders highlighted various initiatives, including upgraded primary healthcare centres in several communities, the renovation and construction of educational facilities, and rural road projects aimed at connecting remote areas—efforts designed to enhance access to essential services and stimulate economic growth.
Commissioner Kanyip commended the effective partnership between state and local government, stressing that infrastructure and development are vital for community security.
Professor Gugwong further remarked that the administration’s investments are laying a robust foundation for youth development, sports enhancement, and social cohesion.
Reports indicate that APC loyalists present at the event pledged their unwavering support for Governor Uba Sani’s aspirations for a second term, promising to bolster grassroots mobilisation efforts in Kaura.
The tour concluded with chants of solidarity and a symbolic endorsement, reinforcing Kaura LGA as a key stronghold for the governor’s re-election campaign in 2027.
