The Coordinator of the Conference of Patriotic Nigerians (COPAN), Barrister Uchenna Odieli, has lauded Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President, for his generous donation of ₦500 million to victims of the recent flood disaster in Maiduguri, Borno State.

In a statement, Barrister Odieli praised Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts, despite facing frequent criticism. “Though often maligned, Seyi Tinubu has remained focused and continues to render selfless service to humanity,” he said.

COPAN noted that the significant donation, made in collaboration with Tinubu’s friends, demonstrates his deep compassion and empathy for fellow citizens, regardless of their class, tribe, or religion.

The relief package is expected to bring much-needed hope and assistance to the flood-affected communities.

The organization also emphasized that Tinubu’s philanthropic work, which often goes unacknowledged, stands as a testament to his understanding of the struggles many Nigerians face.

COPAN expressed gratitude for his dedication to social responsibility, calling him a “beacon of kindness and generosity.”
