Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, recently met with Israel’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, to explore partnerships in Information Technology, Agriculture, and Education aimed at benefiting Southern Kaduna.
During the meeting, Ambassador Freeman expressed Israel’s desire to strengthen ties with Nigeria, particularly through initiatives in technology and agriculture that would impact the Senator’s constituency.
He highlighted Israel’s commitment to supporting local education by equipping a school in Kaduna South with computers to enhance students’ digital skills.
The two leaders also discussed sharing agricultural knowledge and promoting sustainable farming practices in the district, with both sides expressing optimism about the positive effects these collaborations could bring.
Senator Katung welcomed these initiatives, acknowledging their potential to improve education and agricultural productivity in the region. Both parties concluded the meeting with hope for deeper Nigeria-Israel relations and the anticipated benefits for the people of Kaduna State.
