Rick Ross, the American rapper, has opened up about his dream collaboration, naming both living and deceased artistes.

In an interview with CNN, the 50-year-old music executive expressed his interest to work with Grammy winner Burna Boy, the late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and the late Jamaican music icon Bob Marley.

“Let’s say if I had a dream collaboration right now, it would be Ricky Rozay, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti and Burna Boy, to me that’s king level, that’s next level,” he said.

Rick Ross also registered his admiration for Sade Adu, the Nigerian-British singer, adding her to his wishlist.

“I am the boss but I don’t know if a FaceTime with Sade would work. I mean, I love I love, Sade, salute queen salute Queen,” he said.

Born William Leonard Roberts II, Rick Ross founded his label Maybach Music Group (MMG) in 2008.

The label has signed artistes like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana, and Omarion, among others.

Rick Ross is the recipient of nine Grammy Award nominations, and has been named ‘Man of the Year’ by hip hop magazine The Source in 2010 and 2011, as well as ‘Hottest MC in the Game’ by MTV in the latter year

The music executive teamed up with Peter and Paul Okoye of the now defunct music group P-Square on their hit single ‘Beautiful Oyinye’ in 2011.
