In a steadfast commitment to the ‘renewed hope agenda’ championed by President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to Nigeria’s president, has asserted that no amount of propaganda will deter their mission.

The recent Supreme Court verdict, delivered on Thursday, has provided a solid foundation for President Tinubu’s agenda.

This landmark decision ensures a stable platform for delivering good governance to the Nigerian people.

Gbajabiamila emphasized that their agenda is not driven by pecuniary politics, and they remain resolute in their commitment.

Amidst growing reports of alleged ‘abuse of office,’ Gbajabiamila did not directly reference these claims.

Instead, he emphasized that President Tinubu and his team remain undistracted by baseless accusations from unverifiable sources.

Recent controversy has arisen over the approval of appointments under President Tinubu’s leadership.

Reports suggest that many names approved by the President were subsequently altered by the Chief of Staff.

One notable instance involved the replacement of the name of the Ekiti Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) with that of a former commissioner from the previous Ekiti state administration, Kayode Fayemi.

Furthermore, allegations surfaced that President Tinubu had not approved the appointment of the Ekiti REC, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola, but rather someone else.

This prompted President Tinubu to take action, summoning his Chief of Staff for an explanation.

President Tinubu, deeply concerned about these incidents, gave his Chief of Staff a stern warning.

He demanded that Mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola’s name be included in the list of approved appointments, emphasizing that he had verified her name before signing the list.

These events showcase the President’s dedication to transparency and accountability.

In his statement, Gbajabiamila underscores that their mission remains undeterred by such challenges.

They are committed to delivering on the ‘renewed hope agenda’ and vow to continue without distractions.

Nigerians can rest assured that the President and his dedicated team are focused on achieving their objectives.
