In a minor cabinet exercise, Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has redeployed the Minister of State , Police Affairs, Imaan Suleiman -Ibrahim fsi to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
Imaan Suleiman -Ibrahim who was appointed as Minister over a year ago had versed experiences both from the private and public sector.
She was the immediate past Federal Commissioner , National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally displaced persons NCFRMI after redeployment from NAPTIP.
Imaan an expert in security circle made alot of impact towards improving both internal and external security of the country.
An advocate of women emancipation, Imaan had led women of both the North Central and the entire country to the victory of All Progressives Congress APC in the last 10 years , as the rulling party on the mantle of leadership.
Her appointment is a round peg in a round hole , having managed the women folk over the years publicly and privately.
With Imaan Suleiman -Ibrahim as the new Minister of Women Affairs, alot of changes and women development will be witness in the coming years.
