Political Correspondents Beg  Northern, Southern Governors To Support Tajudeen For Speakership

The Northern Political Correspondent Forum had begged all the Northern and Southern Governors to support Hon Tajudeen Abbas to emerge as the speaker of the 10th Assembly.

A statement issued and signed by the Chairman, Chris Alu, said they are appealing to all governors to consider Tajudeen Abbas as the right candidate for the job of the speaker of the 10th National Assembly.

The forum urged the governors to work together in order to ensure that Tajudeen emerged speaker of the House of Representatives.

The group said Tajudeen is a detribalised Nigerian and a trusted lawmaker whose colleagues have attested to.

“We are appealing to all Northern and Southern Governors to close ranks and support Tajudeen for the office of the speaker of the House of Representatives,” the statement said, adding that Tajudeen has returned the fourth time to represent the good people of Zaria federal constituency base on his performance and his ability to carry the people along.

According to the statement, Tajudeen has the political prowess with leadership qualities to make a difference in the house, if elected.
