In response to the recent devastating assaults in Plateau, the Federal Government expresses heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and swiftly initiates the dispatch of humanitarian aid to the affected areas.

In a statement released by Alhaji Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, on Wednesday in Abuja, the Federal Government of Nigeria vehemently condemns the recent atrocities in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is resolute in securing every part of Nigeria, addressing criminality by terrorists, bandits, and militants.

President Tinubu directs the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, along with relevant agencies, to collaborate with the Plateau State Government.

The Federal Government recognizes the profound pain experienced by the victims and pledges increased collaboration with State Governments.

At the federal level, there is a concerted effort across security and intelligence agencies to enhance intelligence gathering and crisis-response capabilities.
