The National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., has congratulated Barr. Chukwuemeka Eze, on his inauguration as the pioneer President of Salt City Chamber of Commerce.

Oye, who spoke at Eze’s inauguration in Ebonyi State, urged for increased collaboration among stakeholders to boost trade, investment, and economic development in the Country.

He said, “On behalf of the Council and Members of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), it is with great pleasure I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Barrister Chukwuemeka Eze on his inauguration as the President of Salt City Chamber of Commerce. As the National President of NACCIMA, I am honored to speak to you today and express our collective enthusiasm for the future of the Salt City Chambers of Commerce under Barrister Eze’s leadership.

“NACCIMA, as the apex chamber of commerce for our country, plays a crucial role in advancing the interests of businesses across Nigeria. We understand the importance of strong and effective leadership at the local level, and we are committed to providing the necessary support and resources to chambers of commerce to ensure their success.”

On the role of a Chamber of Commerce in any Society, Oye noted, “The Chambers of Commerce serve as the collective voice of businesses within a community, advocating for policies that support economic growth and a favorable business environment. They provide networking opportunities, resources, and support for small businesses, while also promoting the local economy through marketing initiatives and collaboration with other organisations.

“Additionally, chambers of commerce often offer educational programs and workshops to help businesses develop key skills and stay informed about industry trends.

“Furthermore, chambers of commerce play a role in international trade support, providing assistance to businesses looking to engage in import/export activities. By fostering partnerships and advocating for the interests of the business community, chambers of commerce contribute to the overall economic development and well-being of the society they serve.”

According to him, “Barrister Eze’s dedication and commitment to the growth and prosperity of Salt City’s business community are commendable. We are confident that with his leadership, the Salt City Chambers of Commerce will emerge as one of the premier chambers in Nigeria. His vision and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly propel the Chamber to new heights of success.

“At NACCIMA, we believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. We look forward to working closely with Barrister Eze and the Salt City Chamber of Commerce to promote trade, investment, and economic development, not only within Salt City but also across the broader Nigerian business community.
