Zaria gave the assurance while receiving the NAWOJ executives during a courtesy visit to his office in Kaduna.

He expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver on their mandate, noting that the new leadership had already outlined meaningful programmes that would positively impact women and the media profession.

According to him, the NURTW under his leadership has consistently carried out initiatives that support women and children, including the empowerment of over one hundred wives and children of drivers in the state.

The union leader promised to sustain his humanitarian activities and continue providing support for the less privileged, stressing that social welfare remained a key part of his office’s objectives.

In her remarks, the NAWOJ Chairperson, Comrade Maidoki, said the visit was part of the association’s familiarisation tour to introduce the new executives and seek partnership ahead of their forthcoming three-day event slated for 29th October to 1st November.

She disclosed that the programme would include prison visitation, medical outreach, a seminar, and women empowerment activities, while calling on the NURTW and other stakeholders to support the initiative.
