He commended the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Commandant General (CG), Dr Ahmed Audi for their commitments to stump out stagnation of promotion in the corps.

“Promotion is privilege, not a right, the Minister and the CG had been emphasising their intentions to stump out stagnation of promotion in the Corps, and that has been achieved.

“On behalf of the personnel of NSCDC Katsina command, we thanked the Minister, our CG and the top management for this magnanimous gesture.” Indabawa stated.

According to him, promotion comes with greater expectations and responsibilities, and tasked the personnel to be committed toward cementing the position of the corps as a critical partner in the security architecture of the country.

He also charged them to be discipline, dedicated and incorruptible in executing the mandate of the corps.

“We must remain resolute and committed in maintaining 24/7 surveillance on critical national assets and infrastructure among other mandates of the corps.

“I also urge the general public to continue to cooperate with the command by providing timely and credible intelligence on suspicious movements or individuals for prompt response,” he said.
