The Nigeria-AfroAsia Small and Medium Enterprises Exhibition Summit (NAASMES 2024) is gearing up to be a pivotal event for Nigeria’s economic landscape, focusing on promoting export-oriented SMEs and empowering women and youth for global market access.
In a statement released by the Inter-ministerial Committee in Abuja, the summit, which aligns with the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Initiative, aims to drive economic diversification by providing Nigerian SMEs the tools they need to thrive in the global market.
The summit, scheduled to take place from November 19 to 21, 2024, at the Velodrome, National Stadium, Abuja, will highlight sectors critical to Nigeria’s future, including textiles, leather, ICT, the blue economy, aquaculture, agriculture, solid minerals, and more.
NAASMES 2024 will feature interactive workshops, business competitions, and networking opportunities with industry leaders, as well as engagements with government officials and international delegations. This grand event will be preceded by a pre-event visit to Vietnam, underscoring its international reach.
“The summit is a vital step toward unlocking global market access for Nigerian SMEs, paving the way for economic growth and diversification,” emphasized the Inter-ministerial Committee, urging Nigerians to register and participate.
