The endorsement was made during an expanded meeting convened by the Shiroro Standing Committee on Peace, Unity, and Development, which was chaired by Deputy Governor Mr. Yakubu Garba in Minna on Friday.

Garba extended his gratitude to the stakeholders for their steadfast support of the administration, highlighting the critical role of peace, unity, and cooperation in tackling issues such as insecurity, underdevelopment, and unemployment.

He urged leaders across various levels to continue backing Governor Bago’s vision to elevate Niger State to a position of prominence, describing him as a leader sent by divine providence.

In his address, Prof. Bashar Nuhu, Chairman of the Standing Committee, praised Bago as a valued ally to Shiroro and emphasized that every resident of the local government should rally behind him.

Prof. Nuhu reiterated the committee’s and the community’s unwavering loyalty and support for the Bago administration.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the meeting was attended by current and former political leaders, community figures, party officials, youth groups, and representatives of women from the local government area. (NAN)
