He said the call became imperative in view of the importance of seeking divine intervention in all aspects of human endeavour.

“Prayer is key to success of any administration, as we alone as leaders cannot do better except with people’s support, cooperation and most importantly their prayers.

*As we celebrate the 1444 Eid-el-Kabir, may Allah accept our Ibadat and put us among His pius servants that will inherit Aljannatul Firdaus,” he prayed.

Gov. Idris urges Muslims to exhibit the spirit of brotherliness, tolerance and accommodate all manner of people irrespective of tribe, ethnicity and religion.

He urged Nigerians to see themselves as one people “striving hard to ensure unity, progress and development of our dear nation.”

While congratulating the Muslims for yet another Sallah celebration, the governor advised all and sundry to project the gospel of peace and unity.
End.
