Breaking barriers, Speaker Danladi Jatau commits to eradicating religious and tribal tensions in Nasarawa State, fostering unity and progress in collaboration with Governor Abdullahi Sule.

In a pivotal meeting with leaders from Jama’atul Nasri Islam (JNI) and Tijaniyya Movement, Nasarawa State chapters, Speaker Jatau emphasized the urgency of addressing ethnic and religious discord to uphold collective peace and propel the state towards prosperity.

Jatau underscored the unnecessary tensions plaguing the state, affirming the crucial role of religious leaders in curbing discord.

He cautioned against provocative sermons and encouraged leaders to guide their followers towards a harmonious coexistence, thereby fortifying the state’s peace and unity.

Expressing gratitude for the visit, Speaker Jatau assured the leaders of his commitment to an open-door policy.

Drawing from his diverse family background, encompassing both Muslims and Christians, he pledged relentless efforts to dismantle religious and tribal divides, recognizing the worrisome impact on the state’s unity.

Commendation for Governor’s Vision
Commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for his impactful development initiatives, Speaker Jatau called upon all residents to extend unwavering support for the governor’s success.
