My Wedding Asake Will Perform Says Wizkid

The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, said that he wants Asake, to perform at his wedding.

Wizkid informed Asake of his wedding during their recent appearance on Apple Music radio, alongside DJ Tunez.

He said that ‘Omo Ope’ made him a fan of Asake, but ‘Remember’ is his favourite Asake song and he would like him to perform it on his wedding celebration.

Wizkid stated that Asake is one of the most talented vocalists in Africa and the world at large.

“Omo Ope made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is ‘Remember’, I think you have to play that one on my wedding day. It is an amazing record” he said.
