The Minna Emirate Council has conferred the prestigious traditional title of Zinariyar Minna on Hajiya Sa’adatu Sani Musa, in recognition of her integrity, service, and outstanding contributions to community development.
The conferment, which takes effect from 9 January 2026, was approved by Umaru Faruq Bahago, the Emir of Minna and Chairman of the Minna Emirate Council, according to an official letter issued from the Emir’s Palace in Minna, Niger State.
In the letter, the Emirate Council noted that the title reflects the high expectations placed on the recipient, emphasizing that as Zinariyar Minna, Hajiya Sa’adatu Sani Musa is expected to uphold responsibility, personal integrity, and decorum—qualities described as the hallmarks of trusted leadership within the traditional institution.
The Council further stressed that the honour carries with it a duty of unwavering loyalty to the Minna Emirate Council and active commitment to its objectives of fostering peace, unity, and sustainable progress across the Emirate. The new title holder is also expected to participate fully in Emirate activities and work harmoniously with other title holders.
Beyond the formal obligations of the title, the conferment has drawn widespread commendation from community leaders and well-wishers, who describe the honour as a fitting recognition of Hajiya Sa’adatu’s long-standing dedication to philanthropy and social development. She is the wife of Sani Musa and the founder of Future Pathways Foundation, through which she has championed initiatives in education, healthcare delivery, and women’s empowerment.
Supporters say her humanitarian work and commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups have earned her the respect and admiration of the Emir and the people of Minna, making her conferment as Zinariyar Minna both timely and well deserved.

The letter conveying the conferment was signed by Alhaji Garba Musa Kuta, Secretary of the Minna Emirate Council, who conveyed the Emir’s goodwill and best wishes to Hajiya Sa’adatu Sani Musa on behalf of the traditional institution.
The title Zinariyar Minna is regarded as one of significant honour within the Emirate, symbolizing trust, leadership, and responsibility in service to the people of Minna.
