Nasarawa state government has re-echoed commitment to creating enabling environment for investors in the state to succeed.
Commissioner for environment and natural resources, Kwanta Yakubu, made this known when he visited two mining companies in Uke, Karu local government area, Thursday.
The two mining companies visited by the commissioner for environment and natural resources, Mr. Kwanta Yakubu, were Hasetins commodity located at Zimbabwe and Asgard mining at Roguwa all in Karu Local government area.
The commissioner who inspected the vicinity of the companies said the industries are established inline with Governor Abdulahi Sule’s administration desire to create job opportunities for unemployed youths in Nasarawa State.
The commissioner who was impressed with the sofisticated machines installed by the mining companies, assured them of government support in terms of security to enable them achieve their aims and objective for establishing the mining companies in Nasarawa State.
The managing director, Hasetins commodities, Jidyi Ijudigal, told the commissioner that Hasetins commodity has a long and successful history of discovering and extracting commodities while minimizing the impact on the environment and supporting the local communities in which they operate as well as dedicated to innovation and the use of latest technology and equipment to conduct geological surveys and extract commodities.
At the Asgard mining company Roguwa, Yakubu Kwanta, said the vision of Governor Sule to industrialize Nasarawa State has been achieved through the establishment of the mining companies by investors.
Responding, the managing director, Asgard mining Roguwa, Obin Anekwe, said the company has been operating one year ago, with a lithium processing machines and also employed youth from the communities as staff and solicited government support to enable the company succeed.
