The military has successfully neutralized several bandits, including their leaders, in a coordinated ground and air strike near Bula community within Yadi Forest in Giwa LGA. The strike was carried out based on credible intelligence received by the Kaduna State Government, following the recent elimination of bandit kingpins along the Kaduna-Katsina border areas.

According to the Overseeing Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the intelligence report revealed that the bandits were planning to hold a meeting within the Yadi Forest. Close monitoring confirmed their presence as they approached the location on motorcycles, bearing arms.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State expressed his satisfaction and commended the security forces for their quick response, diligent efforts, and precise execution.

The governor also expressed gratitude to the various sources who provided crucial intelligence that led to the successful strike.
