All is now set as McPherson University,Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, prepares for her inaugural induction ceremony of her first set of Nursing Graduates into the Nursing Profession.
The event billed for the University’s Multipurpose Hall on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 by 10:00 a.m., is expected to attract relevant stakeholders in the education sector, friends of the University from all walks of life, and the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Dr. Dorothy ODETOLA, FWAPCNM, of the Department of Community Health Nursing, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, will be speaking on, “Advancing Frontiers In Nursing Education And Practice: Effect of Japa Syndrome On Sub-Saharan Africa”, in view of the national concern for brain drain.
Meanwhile, the Registrar, Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Alhaji(Dr.) Faruk Abubakar, is expected to grace this momentous occasion, where the fresh graduates will be inducted into the much-sought Nursing Profession as Registered Nurses(RN).
It is on record that the University’s first set of Nursing graduates came out with flying colours in the Nursing Council Examination held recently, which is an attestation of her commitment to building a new generation of nurses that would impact positively the global community.
The University Management welcomes all invited guests, members of staff and students, as it celebrates this milestone.
