Hon. Anas Abdullahi Kaura, aide to the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, has empowered residents of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State with ₦30 million, vehicles, and work tools as part of efforts to uplift livelihoods and promote peace.

Kaura, who holds the traditional title of Madakin Kaura, visited his hometown over the weekend to sympathise with victims of recent attacks and to consult with religious leaders, traditional rulers, and business owners on ways to restore harmony and stability in the area.

During the visit, he distributed Bajaj motorcycles, cars, sewing machines, and grinding machines to residents.

He also disbursed ₦30 million in cash to support small-scale traders and young entrepreneurs.

Kaura, represented by his media aide,Hon. Suleiman yusuf Usman sketch said said the gesture was driven by his passion for empowering youths, women, and the less privileged, noting that sustainable empowerment was the key to lasting peace and prosperity.

“This initiative is about rebuilding lives and restoring hope. I will continue to stand by our youths, women, and traders, providing them with the opportunities and support they need to thrive,” he said.

The minister’s aide, who has long been known for his philanthropy and grassroots engagement, called for unity and understanding among residents, urging collective efforts to overcome insecurity.

He also donated , building of Islamic schools, distribution of plot of lands to the community.

Kaura, a staunch ally of Matawalle, also criticised the Peoples Democratic Party-led administration in Zamfara, accusing it of failing to deliver meaningful progress to the state.

He appealed to the people to support the All Progressives Congress in future elections, stressing that the party’s leadership would restore peace, accountability, and genuine development to Zamfara.

Residents and community leaders who received the items commended the gesture, describing Kaura as a consistent supporter of grassroots development whose contributions have touched lives across the state.
