A 25-year-old man, Nasir Sulaiman, on Monday appeared before a Shari’a Court sitting at Maganin Gari, Kaduna  for allegedly stealing two mobile phones valued N195,000.
The prosecutor, ASP Luka Sadau said that on May 12, one Ahmad Ibrahim and Aliyu Sale, both residing at Sokoto road, Unguwan Sanusi area, reported that the accused had stolen their phones.
Sadau said the stolen cell phones were Google Pixel 4 worth N130,000 and Pop 7 Pro valued N65,000.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the offence bordering on theft.
The Judge, Malam Anas Khalifa, granted bail to the accused with the condition that he provides an Imam or a traditional title holder as surety.
He adjourned to May 23 for the prosecutor to present witnesses. (NAN)
