The announcement follows a courtesy visit by Hon. Haske Kudla Satumari, founder of the Haske Satumari Foundation, to Senator Asige. During the visit, the two leaders discussed fostering social change and promoting diversity and inclusion in leadership across Africa.

“I just wrapped up a courtesy visit to the transformative leader, and she is poised to be our guest speaker at this year’s Colloquium in Abuja in March 2025,” said Satumari.

He praised Senator Asige as “one of the young Senators making waves in governance in Kenya,” noting her commitment to advancing disruptive and inclusive leadership on the continent. “To trigger the needed transformation, we need accountable, inclusive, and equitable leadership that uses our diversity as strength for growth,” he added.

The annual colloquium, scheduled to take place in Abuja, will convene thought leaders and stakeholders to address key issues affecting Africa’s leadership landscape. The event aligns with the Foundation’s mission to empower voices that drive social and systemic change across the continent.

Senator Asige’s participation underscores the growing recognition of young African leaders as pivotal to shaping the continent’s future. Satumari emphasized the significance of collaborating with transformative voices to inspire a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
