Kano Governorship Tussle: Students Rally Behind APC Gawuna

In the midst of the Kano governorship dispute reaching the Supreme Court, a resolute group of Kano students emphatically supports Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate.

Dismissing alleged plans by New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) supporters to incite violence, the students stand in solidarity with Gawuna, urging citizens to focus on ensuring his triumph at the Supreme Court.

In a show of solidarity, Kano students praise the Nigerian Judiciary for upholding justice in the 2023 Election Petitions.

Distancing themselves from NNPP Kwankwasiyya Protest activities and petitions to international bodies, the National Leader, Yahaya Usman Kabo, condemns these actions as a calculated effort to disrupt the state’s tranquility.

Kabo underscores the students’ commitment to supporting Gawuna’s pledge to enhance the educational sector, expressing confidence in his dedication.

Commending the Nigerian Judiciary for its role in maintaining justice, professionalism, and fair play during the 2023 Election Petitions.

Kano students disassociate themselves from NNPP Kwankwasiyya Protest activities and petitions to international bodies, denouncing these actions as attempts to disturb the state’s peaceful environment.

Emphasizing Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna’s commitment to improving the educational sector and the students’ unwavering confidence in his dedication.

Expressing gratitude to the law-abiding Kano students for their cooperation in maintaining the state’s reputation as the most peaceful in Nigeria, as recognized by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR Khadimul Islam.
