Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has congratulated Apostle Dr Chuks Alozie, Director General of the Global Awareness for Public Safety Foundation and Group Managing Director of GSST Group, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

Speaking through the Director General of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, Rev Mrs Jimaima Kalu, at a special thanksgiving service in Umuahia, the senator described birthdays as a moment to reflect on God’s goodness and grace.

The event coincided with a three-day power-packed spiritual programme themed “Anointing to Open the Gates of Nations” organised by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), South East Region 6 Headquarters.

Kalu praised Apostle Alozie as a trailblazer, a close family friend, and a spiritual ally whose prayers and support have greatly benefited Nigeria’s progress.

The former governor, who also chairs the Senate Committee on the South East Development Commission, urged churches to continue praying for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for divine intervention in Nigeria’s current challenges.

He likened the nation’s ongoing economic reforms to tailoring a new garment — a difficult but ultimately rewarding process — assuring Nigerians that brighter days lie ahead.

Guest preacher Pastor Morenikeji Jesusina, MFM Regional Overseer in Ikom, Cross River State, urged young people to shun desperation and unverified sources of income. He emphasised the importance of focus and determination in achieving lasting success.

In his remarks, Apostle Alozie expressed gratitude to God and to Senator Kalu for his gesture, despite the short notice. He lauded the presence of Rev Mrs Jimaima Kalu and her delegation, describing it as a testament to genuine friendship and leadership.

He also appreciated members of the church and guests who honoured his invitation, calling the occasion a “prophetic celebration of life”.

Pastor Olugbenga Aremu, Regional Overseer of MFM South East Region VI, said the special programme was designed to break spiritual limitations and urged Christians to remain dedicated to Christ, the ultimate yoke breaker.

The ceremony drew a host of well-wishers and featured prophetic prayers by six senior pastors from MFM branches across Nigeria, including Warri, Ibadan, Abuja, Lagos, Cross River, and Abia.

The gathering brought together people from various walks of life, united in celebration and prayers for national progress.
