In response to the educational deficit, the Kaduna State Government unveils a pioneering initiative to recruit 10,000 educators within the basic education sector, aiming to revolutionize public schooling.

The Commissioner of Education, Prof. Mohammed Bello, announced the landmark decision during a reflective session, emphasizing the critical need to bolster teacher deployment and retention policies, particularly in conflict-affected regions.

Underlining the urgency, Prof. Bello underscored the significance of an updated annual school census to pinpoint regions grappling with teacher shortages, propelling the recruitment initiative forward.

In a strategic alliance with pertinent agencies, the state pledges concerted efforts to enhance the deployment and longevity of educators, especially in areas marred by conflict.

Innovations for Resilient Education
Harnessing digital learning solutions, the ministry charts a forward-thinking path to augment the educational landscape, addressing systemic challenges and fostering sustained progress.

Acknowledging the pervasive threat of insecurity, the state, in tandem with UNICEF, embarks on a rigorous training regimen to empower educators and students in identifying and responding to potential risks.

Joy Oballum, representing Oxford Policy Management, lauds the state’s commitment to introspection, presenting illuminating findings aimed at refining and fortifying ongoing policy implementations.

Shehu Usman, of the Kaduna State Teachers Service Board, extols the virtues of adaptive policy frameworks, heralding the successful recruitment of 7,600 teachers as a testament to policy efficacy and foresight.
