Hon. Zock, who confirmed the loss in an emotional tribute made available to journalists on Friday, expressed deep sorrow over the unexpected passing of his longtime aide and political ally, describing the news as devastating and painful.

“My heart aches with grief,” he said. “Stanza, this was never part of our plan. I had envisioned you standing beside me as we worked hand-in-hand to fulfill the mandate given to us by our people. Your sudden departure without a farewell leaves me shattered and heartbroken.”

The lawmaker, visibly shaken, eulogized the deceased as a loyal companion and trusted confidant whose contributions shaped many of his political decisions and constituency interventions.

“Your memory will forever inspire me to carry on our shared vision, adding your dedication, loyalty, and unwavering support will never be forgotten,” he added.

Hon. Zock also extended condolences to the family of the late Tambaya and the entire constituency, praying for strength and comfort in this time of sorrow.

Details surrounding the cause of death were yet to be disclosed as of press time.

Tambaya, who was known for his grassroots connection and political commitment, had served closely with Rep. Zock since his first term in office, earning the respect of stakeholders across party lines.
