The Honorable Commissioner for Finance, Kaduna State, Shizzer Nasara Bada, said she is heartbroken and ill-fated by the shattering news of the sudden death of the former Chief of Staff to late. Governor Patrick Yakowa.
Shizzer, in her condolence message, signed on Thursday and issued to newsmen in Kaduna, said Jema’a Local Government Area and the State have indeed lost one of its brightest elder statesmen.
Elder Abokie Habu Galadima died on Tuesday, according to sources.
She said the Elder statesman was a humble, calm, and sociable leader; a forthright democrat and charismatic mobilizer who stood for truth, justice, equity, and fairness and played many pivotal roles towards the unity, stability, development, and success of Kaduna State.
“He was an exceptionally dedicated, loyal, and beloved sportsman; a seasoned administrator who deployed his intellect, competence, skills, energy, and personal resources in galvanizing and repositioning our beloved State despite daunting challenges.
She further described Abokie Habu Galadima as a detribalized Nigerian, who put the interest and well-being of the State above every other consideration and made numerous positive landmarks.
“He will surely be missed by a lot of people for different reasons and especially for his statesmanship,” she added.
“I share in the grief of his family members and friends and associates. I had close personal experiences and relationships with Elder Abokie Habu Galadima.
“I pray for his soul to find eternal rest in the bosom of his Creator as I pray for strength for his family to be able to bear this painful exit,” Shizzer added.
