Attempted kidnap on a Secondary School at Birnin-Gwari LGA

A large number of bandits have invaded a Primary Healthcare Centre in Kuyallo, the Eastern part of Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Kidnapping two nurses and an unspecified number of patients from the centre.

Locals says the bandits had earlier stormed the Government day secondary school in the community asking for students around 9:00am in the morning but when they found out the school was empty, they then went to the healthcare centre and kidnapped several on ground.

Although the exact number of patients abducted is still unknown, there have been no known official confirmation from the police and government.

Eyewitnesses say that the bandits had stormed the Healthcare centre, wielding guns and machetes, and dragged helpless patients out of the hospital.
