A political group, The Arise Ambassadors, has pledged to purchase the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination and expression of interest forms for Alhaji Dr. Muhammed Sani Sidi ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Kaduna State.

The group’s Director General, Ambassador Maisaje Umar Yahaya, made this announcement following a meeting at the Arise Movement’s state secretariat in Kaduna.

He stated that the group, since its formation, has been committed to mobilising support for Sani Sidi, describing him as a “detribalised leader with a unifying figure.”

“Our resolve is to canvass, sensitise, educate, and build trust in the citizens of Kaduna State,” Yahaya said. “We believe His Excellency will provide a secure environment where all citizens have equal opportunities to achieve their dreams.”

He further explained that the group is pooling resources through crowdfunding to purchase the nomination forms, adding that they will collaborate with like-minded groups and the PDP leadership to ensure Sani Sidi’s victory in the 2027 election.

Sani Sidi, a former Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), previously contested for the PDP governorship ticket in 2019 but lost to Isa Ashiru, who later emerged as the party’s candidate.

The 2027 election in Kaduna is expected to be highly competitive, with major political parties strategising to gain an advantage in the state.
