Succour has finally come the way of Kabala West community, a suburb of Kaduna town metropolis with
the commissioning of a water borehole, to end the perennial long distance in searching for portable drinking water.

The project, courtesy of a Nigerian-American-based hairstylist, Mrs. Dinatu Amos Katuka, who spoke with our correspondent in an exclusive interview, said the gesture was aimed at alleviating the burden of the residents who have been traveling countless miles to access drinkable water.

She explained that the borehole was sunk in a strategic area to help cushion the effect of water scarcity.

Reflecting on her childhood, Dinatu shared,” My siblings and I have the experience of what hardship is all about when we were growing up in the Community as children. I am aware of the acute hardship of water.

” I thank God for our lives. There were numerous challenges, but we managed to overcome them with His grace,” she added.

” Since I am here and God help me, there is a need to bring succor to my relations and the host community, ” Dinatu said.

Dinatu, who is the Chief Executive Officer of “Maryamu African Hair Braiding” in Newark, New Jersey, United States of America disclosed that she has already outlined some programs that will soon be executed that’ll benefit her people.

” Even though, I am married that doesn’t mean I should forget my childhood,” She added.

” We’re elated at the level of this project being inaugurated which speaks volumes about the personality of Dinatu. We’re calling on residents to make good use and take ownership for proper maintenance.” Auta advised.

PUNCH reports that Dinatu is a graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic and Lead City University Ibadan and possesses the noble traits of a philanthropist.
