During a visit by contestants of the 2023 National Elections of the NAWOJ, Commissioner Rabi emphasized the importance of women journalists always reporting women’s issues, stating, “It is the women who always feel the pain of a woman.”

The Commissioner promised to work with women journalists as a team and cautioned them to unite, emphasizing the need for a consistent and unified voice.

In her earlier remarks, Comrade Fatima Aliyu, Chairperson of NAWOJ, Kaduna State Chapter, mentioned that they were on a courtesy call to congratulate Hon Rabi Salisu on her well-deserved appointment as a woman dedicated to serving humanity in all aspects of life. She added, “You are doing well, our icon of hope.”

While praying on behalf of women journalists, Aliyu sought collaboration, promising that they would provide maximum support to Hon Rabi Salisu for a successful tenure.
