Jigawa Releases ₦532 Million For Constructing Islamiyya Classrooms

Jigawa state Government has approved the release of ₦532,427,977.58K for the constitution of 132 classrooms at different Islamiyya Schools across 30 constituency in the state

The state commissioner of Information Hon Sagir Musa revealed this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the state executive council meeting.

He explained that, 66no. of two classroom block”’ will be constructed under the 2024 Sate Constituency projects.

The commissioner noted that, the construction of Islamiyya classroom is part of the state government effort to promote true religious teaching, inculcate moral discipline,sense of humanity and fear of God in the minds of young generation.

He added that, the availability of such schools will also help in tackling high rate of out of school children and Almajiri syndrome in the state.
