The All Progressive Congress (APC) Jigawa state chapter has declared it’s support for adopting consensus in producing the 10th leadership of national assemblies , urging all the APC senators and reps members to accept it with good faith.
The state chairman of the party Hon Aminu Sani Gumel stated made the declaration while briefing newsmen in Dutse Capital.
He said, the choice of Senator Akphbio as Senate president and Senator Barayi Jibrin as deputy senate president was done out of desire for national unity and progress.
“So also the choice Tajuddern Abbas as Speaker and Ben Kalu as deputy speaker is for national interest and promoting all inclusive in Nigerian democratic process, which is inline with APC philosophy ” Aminu declared
He however stated that, the Jigawa APC is in support of any process , programs and policies adopted by National headquter of the party that aimed at promoting Unity, peace and progress in Nigeria.
We are also supporting our president elect Mr Bola Ahmad Tinibu and governor elect Malam Umar Namadii on the policies and programs they are having for the progress of our party, peace Unity and development of Nigeria.
He than warned all APC Senators, Rep members against deviating or rejecting the collective decision of the party and its national leader as such action would have a lethal consequences for all.
” It is now time for every one to put the unity of APC and Nigeria above his personal interest, it is time for every one to shift ground for peace and progress, we are calling on all good members of APC to accept this decision with good faith and also pray for the success of our president and state governors ”
