Insecurity: Army Must Bring Back Peace, Security To Nigeria–Maj. Gen. Warrah

In a firce charge to troop of the North West Operation Fassan Yamma, (OPFY) the Theater Commader of the Joint Task Force, Major General Warrah Idris has encouraged the troops to sustain agressive neutralization of bandits and insurgents from both the region and country at large.

“I am here to tell you that we are not here to play football or dance for parties but to eradicate completely, completely, I repeat the issue of banditry in this region and in our country at large.  It is our duty to protect our civilians and to protect our citizens. Therefore, we must
bring back peace and security in the Northwest region and in Nigeria as a whole”. Warrah enthused.

Addressing the troops in his encouragement laden voice, Warrah said their operations must continue with high intensity to ensure complete eradication of all bandits and protect civilians

While stressing that training, discipline and adherence to regimentation are critical areas of ensuring military successes, Maj. Gen. Warrah charged the troops to be up to the task based on the briefing received from the sector Commander.

Talking on total dedication to the cause of restoring peace and keeping Nigeria safe, Warrah reminded officers again to always have it at the back of their minds that their welfare is of topmost priority hence the need for the to reciprocate by putting in their best.

“You all know that those injured are properly and adequately taken care of. So when you move out for those operations, give out your best knowing fully well that whatever happens, the Armed Forces are ready to take care of you”.
