Scheduled for November 4–5, 2025 in Doha, Qatar, the I-HEAL Event (Incomes, Health, Education, Access to Water, and Living Standards) will convene global changemakers, youth innovators, policy leaders, civil society, development agencies, and UN partners under the banner: “The I-HEAL Blueprint: Catalytic Transformation for Equity, Access, and Human Flourishing Across Africa and Beyond.

The initiative is driven by Waterlight Save Initiative’s mission to place communities at the center of development, mobilizing grassroots leadership, diaspora engagement, and cross-sector partnerships to tackle entrenched inequalities with data-driven, people-powered solutions.

The I-HEAL framework stands on eight strategic pillars that address the multidimensional nature of poverty and exclusion:

These are: Sustainable Livelihoods & Social Protection, Climate Justice & Health Equity, Digital Inclusion for Social Development, youth-Led Innovation for Social Change, Community Resilience & Disaster Preparedness, Migration, Mobility & Social Integration, Gender Equity & Intersectional Justice and Participatory Governance & Civic Engagement

The two-day summit will include: High-Level Dialogues with diplomats, UN agencies, and philanthropies, Grassroots Panel Discussions from the field, innovation Showcases by youth-led startups, Workshops on gender, digital equity, and migration, Cultural Exhibitions to bridge community experience and policy action

This convergence seeks to elevate marginalized voices, build policy pathways, and strengthen cross-regional solidarity around the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Doha Declaration on Social Development.

“IHEAL is not just a framework. It is a movement. A call to action. A new development narrative where dignity, access, and opportunity are not privileges, but rights for all,” said Dr. Engr. Prince Ero Ibhafidon, Founder & President of Waterlight Save Initiative.

Waterlight Save Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and ECOSOC-accredited organization committed to advancing dignity, equity, and prosperity for vulnerable populations across Africa and the global diaspora. Its work spans clean water access, youth empowerment, healthcare delivery, education, climate resilience, and diaspora reintegration programs.
