Governor Kefas appoints Ma’aku DG, Taraba State Geographic Information  Services

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has approved the appointment of Surveyor Joshua Mark  Ma’aku as the Director General of Taraba State Geographic Information  Services (TAGIS).

In a press statement released from the office of the Chief Press Secretary  to the Taraba State government and made available to NATIONAL ACCORD, disclosed that the appointment is with immediate effect.

Until his appointment, Dr. Ma’aku was the General Manager Taraba State Geographic Information Services TAGIS, based on the creation of an executive order.

However, the statement further disclosed that with the enactment of a law that currently gives TAGIS a legal status, Dr. Ma’aku is elevated to head TAGIS as Director General

Dr. Ma’aku is a qualified and an accomplished Surveyor from humble beginning as Survey Attendant with Taraba State Civil Service and rose  through the rank and file of the service to the  present rank of Director General, according to the statement.

He also being recognized for his dedication to providing leadership excellence towards achieving TAGIS goal’s in Taraba State. He holds different positions which demonstrates his leadership qualities and organizational skills.
