In a groundbreaking move, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, has given the green light for the establishment of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Finishing School within the borders of Nasarawa.
This pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone, as it heralds the inception of the inaugural Public Relations Finishing School, mirroring the esteemed Nigerian Law School, to be instituted not only in Nigeria but across the African continent.
During a momentous occasion at the Nasarawa Governor’s Lodge Asokoro, Abuja, Engr. Sule officially endorsed the proposal in the presence of Dr. Ike Neliaku fnipr, President and Chairman of the Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), accompanied by a delegation of esteemed national council members, including the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria.
The visit also saw the attendance of Mr. Joseph Attah, the newly appointed Chairman of the Nasarawa State Chapter of NIPR, and other dignitaries, signifying Nasarawa’s enthusiastic embrace of this pioneering venture in public relations education.
Through this monumental decision, Nasarawa State solidifies its commitment to nurturing future leaders in the field of public relations, while positioning itself as a beacon of excellence in academic innovation and professional development.
