The Kaduna State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani, has reiterated their commitment to completing several vital projects and the Rewa-Gure bridge initiated by the previous administration of former Governor Nasir el’Rufai.
In a statement issued to reporters on Monday by the Managing Director of Kaduna Roads Agency (KADRA), Dr Abdullahi Ahmed, disclosed that the Rewa-Gure bridge, when completed, will link over 54 rural communities and boost the economic development of the State.
He explained that Governor Uba Sani’s administration is dedicated to completing access roads and bridges for rural farming communities.
According to him,” The Rewa to Gure Bridge is a 45-meter three-span structure located in Lere Local Government Area; linking Kauran Dan Gambo, Unguwan Boru Amawa, Sigau Performance, Rewa, Gaskora, Dan Dore, Unguwan Shawara, Unguwan Fah, Taremu, Zarangi, Kuduru, Makera, Jimgir, Katashi, Kahugu and Gure amongst other communities.
The KADRA boss maintained that Governor Uba Sani has ensured that the contractor received the full outstanding payment for the completion of the
bridge.
