In a surprising turn of events, the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association has announced its opposition to the planned national protest.

The association acknowledges the government’s ongoing efforts to address their concerns and challenges, particularly through the establishment of the Ministry of Livestock Development, which they view as a significant step towards recognizing the importance of livestock farming in Nigeria.

Engr. Saleh Alhassan, National Secretary of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association, expressed the association’s strong support for the newly established Ministry of Livestock Development. They believe that this ministry will revolutionize the sector by promoting global best practices, introducing modern techniques, and contributing to food security, job creation, and rural development.

While recognizing the frustrations and grievances of many Nigerians, the association urges its members and supporters to refrain from participating in the planned protest. They firmly believe that peaceful dialogue and constructive engagement with authorities are more effective and sustainable means of addressing challenges.

In addition, Miyetti Allah calls on security agencies to adopt a proactive and non-kinetic approach in addressing the complex security challenges facing Nigeria. They emphasize the importance of a comprehensive and inclusive strategy that involves key stakeholders and addresses the root causes of insecurity, rather than just its symptoms.

The association emphasizes the importance of building trust and cooperation with local communities, protecting the rights and livelihoods of pastoralists, and integrating them into broader security and development frameworks. They believe that by doing so, social cohesion can be promoted and the marginalization of any group can be prevented.

It is evident that Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association is dedicated to supporting progressive initiatives and promoting peaceful means of addressing challenges in Nigeria.
