According to Odewo, a total of eleven individuals were involved in the crash, which included two tricycles, two trucks, and a Sienna car.

Odewo stated that the injured victims were transported to Amuloko City Hospital by compassionate bystanders, while the deceased were taken to the University College Hospital in Ibadan prior to the arrival of FRSC personnel.

He urged all drivers to strictly observe road safety regulations to minimize the risk of preventable accidents.

An eyewitness reported to NAN that among the deceased were schoolchildren and a mother of one of the students. The witness indicated that a trailer appeared to have lost control and collided with the other vehicles involved.
