The people of Omala are rejoicing with Hajia Aisha Ibrahim Idris, wife of former Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, as she receives the prestigious traditional title of Omi akele Ogohi Anyigba. This honorable title was bestowed upon her by His Royal Highness Alhaji Shaibu Okolo.¹

Dr. Aminu Atabor, Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Adult and Non-Formal Education, has extended his warmest felicitations to Her Excellency Hajia Aisha Ibrahim Idris, wife of the former Governor on her selection for the conferment of the prestigious title of Omi akele Ogohi Anyigba accompanied by the greetings of Adeeebu.

Dr. Atabor commended the honor bestowed upon her by His Royal Highness Alhaji Shaibu Okolo, the Ogohi Anyigba, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the development of the area and her unwavering support for women in the society. He also expressed his gratitude to the traditional ruler for acknowledging excellence and commitment to womanhood.

As Chairman of the Kogi East Forum of Senior Special Assistants, Dr. Atabor acknowledged the significance of this title, highlighting Hajia Aisha’s remarkable achievements and dedication to the community. He emphasized that this recognition serves as a testament to her selfless service and commitment to uplifting the lives of others.

Dr. Atabor’s congratulatory message was echoed by many others who have worked closely with Hajia Aisha, praising her kindness, generosity, and tireless efforts to empower women and promote community development. Her exemplary leadership and compassion have left a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.

As Dr. Atabor concluded his congratulatory message, he quoted a verse from the Holy Quran, “And We have certainly honored the children of Adam” (Quran 17:70), emphasizing that Hajia Aisha’s honor is a testament to her noble character and contributions to society.
