FIFA U-20 Round Of 16 Results After USA And Israel Grabbed The Quarter Finals Tickets

The Round of 16 games of the FIFA U-20 World Cup kicked off with wonderful results from venues. However, the first 2 countries have sailed through to the quarter finals while another 2 are out of the competition.

USA were one of the 9 pointers in the Group stage and confirming that the feat wasn’t a fluke has been proven against New Zealand in the Round of 16. Wolff opened scoring for USA just 16 minutes into the game to put the half on hold for the Americans. USA returned with the second goal in the 62nd minute from Cowell’s effort to make it 2-0.

New Zealand couldn’t just handle the Americans as they fell more to their pressure with Che’s strike in the 76th minute to finally bring New Zealand to their knees. Puckstas made it 4-0 for USA in the 83rd minute to ease pass New Zealand in an emphatic style into the Quarter Finals.

After struggling out of their Group with 4 points, Israel stroll through to the quarter finals with a late winner against Uzbekistan on a glorious night. The first half ended Goalless with both Team fighting hard to prove a point.

However, Israel came out Top in the final minute of regulation time to do away with any extra time additions as Khalili Scored the winning goal for Israel to seal a place in quarter final rounds.

Israel will be waiting to face Brazil or Tunisia in the Quarter Final match while USA shall lock horns with the winner between Gambia and Uruguay. The stage is set and Israel are lucky, do you think they can survive playing against Tunisia or Brazil? Share your thoughts.
