The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Friday, involving a motorcycle and a truck. Ajibade explained that the commercial motorcycle, bearing the registration KTU 643 QQ, lost control due to excessive speed and collided with a Howo truck, leading to the deaths of two passengers and injuring the rider.

The deceased have been taken to Ifo General Hospital, while the injured party was transported to Ota General Hospital for treatment. Ajibade confirmed that the truck has been cleared from the road to improve traffic conditions in the area. He urged all motorcyclists and drivers to prioritise caution and avoid speeding to help prevent further accidents.
