Governor Yusuf described the killing of a mother and her innocent children as utterly unacceptable and vowed that his administration would ensure that those responsible face justice. He has directed the Kano State Police Command to immediately initiate a manhunt for the perpetrators, emphasising that anyone found culpable will face the full force of the law.

“The government will not allow such a heinous crime to go unpunished,” the governor stated.

To prevent a recurrence of such incidents, Governor Yusuf has also instructed the Kano Neighborhood Corps to enhance patrols and community surveillance, particularly in vulnerable areas throughout the state.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to bolstering grassroots security and safeguarding lives and property, highlighting the need for continued collaboration with security agencies to maintain peace and order.

The governor urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security forces by providing valuable information to assist ongoing investigations. He encouraged the public to promptly report any suspicious movements or activities in their communities.
