Muhammadu Sanusi, the Emir of Kano, says everything on earth happens based on the will of God.

Sanusi spoke on Friday during the Jumat service at the Kofar Kudu Central Mosque in Kano.

The Emir noted that the belief of anyone who does not accept that “destiny” is from God is not complete.

Sanusi asked the congregants to remain steadfast in their faith in Allah during good and bad times.

“Whoever believes that Allah alone gives everything must take the decision of Allah wholeheartedly. No one asks Allah’s reasons for anything,” Sanusi said.

“We were told that whoever did not accept destiny is from Allah; his belief is not complete. One should be thankful in good and bad situations.

“We must believe that whatever happens to us is predestined by God, and what we couldn’t have is from Him.”

Kofar Kudu mosque is where the Emir of Kano worships.

Kano has been embroiled in a crisis since the reinstatement of Sanusi as Emir last week.

Aminu Ado Bayero, the dethroned Emir, who has not complied with the directive of the Kano state government sacking him, has been ensconced in a palace in Nassarawa LGA since his pre-dawn return to the city last Saturday.

Earlier on Friday, the Kano police command said Bayero would not lead Jumat at Kofar Kudu central mosque.

The police added that arrangements have been made for Bayero to observe Jummat in Nassarawa LGA.
