Electoral Reforms: Ugandan Mayor Arrives Nigeria For Haske Satumari Foundation Colloquium

Ahead of this year’s colloquium organized by Haske Satumari Foundation that opens conversation on electoral and Judicial Reforms, the Mayor of Entebbe in Uganda, Fabrice Rulinda has arrived in Nigeria.

Rulinda, who is a special guest at the Haske Satumari Foundation annual colloquium with the theme: “Electoral And Judicial Reforms: The Imperatives on Nigeria’s Democracy, Governance, Leadership and its selection processes will be joined by Nigerian leaders in the discussion.

The event is holding at the Yar’Adua Centre Abuja on 21st March, 2024 with former Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan among dignitaries that will grace the occasion.

Rulinda landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja a few minutes after noon is expected to give an insight on how Africa can improve its electoral transparency and reform the judicial system.

Others who will be speaking at this colloquium include the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Human Rights activist and lead council, Falana and Falana Chambers.

Former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki is expected to share experiences on democracy and the legislative process.

The Haske Satumari Foundation annual colloquium has been shaping political and legal discussions in Nigeria since its introduction by the founder, Kudla Satumari.

Speaking to journalists, Satumari said this year’s colloquium promises to be thought provoking that will help in shaping political discussion as the country moves towards amendment of the constitution, the electoral act and judicial reforms.
